rfInvestigator-FM is an engineering tool to help you comply with FCC 73.207, 73.215 and 73.509 rules when applying for a new FM broadcast station or making changes to an existing one. It performs both spacing and contour analyses. It allows you to search it's database of FM stations and applications.
rfInvestigator-FM offers a host of advanced features, many of which are not found in similar programs or are offered as expensive additions. It comes with an antenna pattern design tool and a terrain profile tool.

The White/Gray Analysis tool gives you the ability to perform fast and accurate 307(b) studies for completing Section III of the FCC's NCE-FM application.
This optional tool allows you to create contours for any AM facility listed in the CDBS.
The DB-Builder tool gives you the ability to build your own databases for rfInvestigator-FM. This capability, formerly built into the Pro Edition, has been made into an independent tool which allows you to build databases while using your rfSoftware programs. Available for both FM and AM databases.
The PL-Server tool generates propagation data which can be displayed within rfInvestigator-FM. This data is generated in the background while you continue to use your rfSoftware programs.
As with most applications, additional memory and/or CPU power will result in improved performance.
